I absolutely love this camera. It takes awesome pictures and great videos. The touch-panel is a great bonus as well. At this price and with this quality, you can’t beat it. Highly recommended.

I was hesitant to buy a nikon digital camera because i just loved my canon but when i received my nikon digital camera i loved how it’s very easy to use, loved the itouch screen and the video are great as well, the only thing that bother’s me is when i take pictures at night the flash is too bright and so my kids doesn’t like it when i take their pictures at night, other than that i just loved them. i did my research and amazon has the cheapest price and they shipped pretty fast.

I am extremely pleased with my camera. Compact so I carry it everywhere. Taking more pictures than I every have due to its size and ease of use. Absolutely love it!

Complete instructions for this camera are included on a CD. This is great BUT it’s kinda hard to remember everything and without a computer you can’t carry the instructions with you (unless you want to print everything and carry around big pages) so it would be better to include a printed instruction booklet as part of the package.
Also, the flash recovery time is sooooo slow even with a full battery charge.

The Nikon S4000 has been a pleasure to use. Because it’s so small, I have it with me much more – just drop it in my pocket when I walk out the door. I have not yet had to recharge the battery although I’ve used it a few weeks now. That was one of my concerns. The screen cleans easily with a microfiber cloth. The picture quality is very good for my use in taking casual photos. I recommend it.
