This is a very big P&S camera case. It will probably fit the biggest P&S cameras. The dimensions in the description are the internal dimensions. The external seams and heavy padding give the case some huge external dimensions: 6″x4″x2.5″. This thing won’t fit in your pocket.
The top flap and the belt loop are secured by pieces of generic velcro. They seem fairly secure when new, but will they get too weak with use? Definitely keep an eye on those if you don’t want your camera to go flying.
Construction quality is not as good as similar cases from LowePro or Kata, but it is a good value at $6, which is half what the name brands cost.

The materials are very nice and the design is good. I want to report the internal measurements of mine, which seem at variance with others: 5 x 3 x 1.5″. It is a perfect fit for my Kodak Z915. The outside pocket hidden by the top flap is 4.5 x 3.3″ with a nice zipper near the top and an expansion gusset on the left side. (My Duracell PPS2 Li instant charger which is a small external USB battery, fits nicely in there with its cable, although it is not an accessory that I would use with that particular camera.)
The function and padding of this bag are excellent and a very good buy at this price point. The only downside is poor worksmanship in sewing: on mine neither the belt loop nor the flap velcro strip are centered. Neither flaw is going to make any difference in the use of the bag.

AmazonBasics makes a very study case for your camera. Pay close attention to the dimensions of this one, because it might not be a perfect fit for your new digital camera. This case is probably a little bigger than you would expect. (3.15 x 1.57 x 4.73 inches LxWxH)
The “look” is also a little utilitarian, but that’s just how “sturdy” looks. At least it’s subtle and doesn’t say “I’m expensive…steal me”.
I picked this case to store my Seagate 500 GB Portable External Hard Drive. I picked it because it has room for extra cables and accessories.
No matter what you store in this case, it will be well protected by the sturdy padding. There’s also plenty of room for spare memory cards, batteries, and cables if you like to take those with you. And if you need it while you’re on the go, then attach it to your belt with the provided belt loop.

The camera case is big for most compact point and shoot cameras and has lot of room to spare for other accessories like AA batteries, extra memory cards, you can even stuff in your clamshell types of cell phone, you get the idea the Camera case is BIG!, Much bigger than it looks!
Even bigger is the shipping box
, it was shocking to see so much of paper and materials are wasted by Amazon on shipping this camera box, see pictures posted on Amazon you will see what I mean.
Most of my point and shoot cameras that I own was rattling inside the big case, I ended up using it for other things, Like taking my wallet, cell phone and keys inside this while I ride my bicycle.
The quality of materials used to make this bag is good, it has nice padding throughout and will keep the items safe from bumps and dings but as stated earlier and many others on Amazon it is big for most small size cameras.
You can surely put this case to good use, it is cheap as long as you purchase with your $25 or more orders on Amazon.

This camera case is reasonably well made and has the limited features one expects in the price range. It is black nylon with Velcro closures for both the top flap and the beltloop on the back. The zippered storage compartment for accessories and flash cards that sits just under the top flap is itself almost big enough to hold my son’s Canon SD1000. The main compartment is so big that my Canon S90, not the smallest P&S camera, kinda swims in it. I think it may be big enough for a G11, but I didn’t check. Just for the fun of it, I have posted a video of me inserting my S90 in a Canon case (old one for my S400) and subsequently putting both into the ABUCC.
So, enough ranting about how big it is. How well does it work?
Pros:
* Sturdy, well padded.
* Black, which I like because it doesn’t show the inevitable grime that happens when you use something like this a lot.
* Closures actually hold well.
* Has a belt loop.
* Zippered front accessory pouch.
Cons:
* It’s bigger than most of us need for our pocketable point and shoots. I think this will end up having me go back to keeping my S90 in my pocket.
* The belt loop has the convenience feature of a velcro closure, but this makes it able to be ripped off by a street thief. I also don’t know how long the Velcro will keep its aggressive hold on the beltloop if you use this method for putting the case on and off a lot. I would have preferred a standard permanent mount for the loop.
Summary:
You should check out the dimensions (Interior is about 5″ x 3″ x 1.5″) of this case vs. your camera before purchasing because it is likely your modern digital camera is too small for it.
